About John Carr

John Carr is the Positive Life NSW Housing Support Officer since September 2017, where he is responsible for support and advocacy to PLHIV in metropolitan and regional NSW to access, achieve and maintain stable accommodation, including those at risk of homelessness. He has worked extensively in community services since 2009. Initially in the disability field, he expanded his work into HIV, homeless and alcohol and other drug services. John is also involved with LGBTI services in a volunteer capacity.
