The Social Club
The Social Club is a social peer support group for all people living with HIV (PLHIV) who identify as heterosexual, regardless of age or how long you’ve been living with HIV.
The Social Club offers heterosexual people living with HIV the opportunity to meet up in a safe, friendly and accepting social environment around an organised event or activity. We meet regularly once a month, often on a Friday evening with a lunch on the following Sunday. Some examples of events we hold include dinner at member’s homes, restaurant meals, barefoot and ten-pin bowling, film evenings, and outings to the theatre, shows, galleries and concerts.
Generally we hold the event in Sydney’s inner west, but are also looking at the feasibility of possibly holding events in other parts of Sydney
