Positive Life is committed to advocating for the rights of people living with HIV and responding to community needs. The right to live with dignity has been a central tenet of the way people living with HIV have positioned ourselves engaging with our healthcare professionals and to self-determine the way we live our lives.

Rights of the Terminally Ill

Positive Life considers that when no other options are available to a person to relieve their pain and suffering that their rational requests to a medical practitioner to end their pain and distress should be respected and granted.

Positive Life made submissions in 2017 supporting the NSW Parliamentary Working Group on Assisted Dying’s draft Voluntary Assisted Dying Bill 2017.
