Aboriginal Health Program Officer
Leslie joined Positive Life in May 2020. He has responsibility alongside Michelle Tobin, to develop, implement, and evaluate a co-designed HIV health program for NSW-based Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living with or at risk of acquiring HIV.
Leslie is fiercely passionate about advocating for the well-being, liberty, and human rights of all people living with HIV, especially vulnerable populations, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and people who are gender and sexuality diverse. He conducts empirical research at Family Planning NSW and philosophical research at Sydney Health Ethics.
Leslie holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Sydney, where he was also President of Sydney University Public Health Society (SUPHSOC). He has completed a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Sydney and McGill University.
