Registrations are now open for the next a[STARTx] weekend workshop, taking place on 20-22 March 2026 in Surry Hills, Sydney, delivered by Positive Life NSW in partnership with ACON.

This peer-led program supports gay, bi and queer men who have been recently diagnosed with HIV to build confidence, strengthen knowledge and connect with others who understand the experience.

An HIV diagnosis can bring questions, uncertainty and new information to process. While clinical care provides essential medical support, many people also benefit from connecting with others who have walked a similar path. a[STARTx] is grounded in lived experience and facilitated by trained peers living with HIV, offering a welcoming and confidential environment where participants can speak openly and gain clarity.

Places are limited to maintain a supportive group size. Eligible participants are encouraged to register their interest early.

To register, you can contact us at 02 8357 8386 or email contact@positivelife.org.au.
