For many people living with HIV, visa uncertainty reaches into everyday life. It can affect how we think about healthcare, work, relationships and plans for the future. When there is talk of changes to visa rules, it can be hard to know what to ask or where to find reliable information.
On Friday 30 October, Positive Life NSW is hosting a special Kitchen Table Stories: Visa Talk for Asian, Latin American and Sub-Saharan African people living with HIV.
A solicitor from HIV/AIDS Legal Centre (HALC) will join us for a conversation about visa issues and possible changes. There will be time for questions, including questions sent in advance.
Kitchen Table Stories is a chance to gather over food in a relaxed, private setting. You can ask a question, listen to the conversation or connect with others who may understand what you are going through. You do not need to speak about your personal circumstances in front of the group.
