Mark is a gay man who has lived with HIV since 2016. He migrated to Australia from the Philippines as a child in 1989 and still speaks fluent Tagalog. After a career in IT and statistics, Mark has decided to pursue his passion for science and is a full-time student at University of Technology Sydney studying Bachelor of Medicinal Chemistry. He is a keen advocate for culturally and linguistically diverse communities, especially people living with HIV (PLHIV) and a valued public speaker living with HIV with the Positive Speakers Bureau (PSB).
To book Mark and complement your next sexual health or HIV training or to share his story of resilience with your senior students through the NSW Department of Education Life Ready program, please book him here or call the Coordinator on (02) 8357-8386.
