Housing Support Officer
Rueben Matheson joined Positive Life in May 2021 and brings extensive community sector experience working with people living with HIV since 2009. With a lived experience of homelessness, alcohol and other drugs (AOD), and domestic violence, Rueben actively applies these understandings to inform his practice working alongside the NSW community of people living with HIV.
Supporting Positive Life’s Housing Support program, Rueben is a strong advocate for people living with HIV to raise their capacity to represent their own interests around health, wellbeing and quality of life. Rueben holds an undergraduate degree in Social Science (Community Welfare), and is currently studying toward a Masters of Social Work.
