Membership of Positive Life NSW is open to any person affected by HIV in New South Wales who accepts the Rules of the Association [1]. For the purpose of membership, a person affected by HIV is defined as:
a person with HIV; their partners; their family members; and people directly involved with people with HIV.
Membership of Positive Life NSW is a tangible way to show your support for the work of the Association and the principles that the Association tries to uphold.
There are three divisions of membership:
Membership to Positive Life NSW is FREE. Apply to become a member simply by downloading and printing our Membership Form [2]. Fill out the form and ensure you declare which membership type you are applying for, date and sign it then return to Positive Life NSW. Please also acknowledge the Personal Health & Information Statement outlined on the form.
If you cannot download or print the PDF form please request one to be faxed or posted via our contact page [3]. Alternatively this form is printed in every issue of Talkabout magazine.
Once your application has been approved by the Positive Life NSW Board of Directors, you will become a member and receive a welcome pack by post. Membership shall cease upon resignation or expulsion. Please view our complete Rules of Association [1] for more details.
