Happy New Year
Positive Life NSW would like to wish you all the best for a happy, healthy 2010. We hope the year ahead will be a good one.
Life.mail will be published six times a year between editions of Talkabout. Of course, we’ll keep you posted if there is any special news or events that just can’t wait.

Special General Meeting notice
We would like to apologise for some unintentional mistakes in the recent announcements for Positive Life NSW’s Special General Meeting (SGM). The dates and days did not match.
The SGM will be held on Thursday, 11 February, 6–8pm, not Tuesday.
The closing date for postal nomination forms to be received by Positive Life is 5pm on Thursday, 21 January, not Wednesday.
The SGM pack including the meeting agenda, instructions for voters, information on candidates, proxy form and a reply paid envelope will be mailed to members on Wednesday, 27 January. This will be accompanied by an email to members.

Introducing the new Board
At the 26 November 2009 Annual General Meeting, the following people were elected to the Board:
Vice President: Richard Kennedy
Secretary: Malcolm Leech
Treasurer: Paul Ellis
Director: Bernard Kealey
Director: Lance Schema*
Director: Russell Westacott
Director: James Wilson
Director/Staff Representative: Lance Feeney (until 31 January 2010)
The election of the President was deferred until the SGM on Thursday, 11 February. Richard Kennedy is currently acting in the position of President. The fifth ordinary Director position created at the 2009 AGM will also be filled at the SGM.

Condom packing extravaganza
ACON is holding its annual MEGA Packing session on Saturday, 20 February. The day is a fantastic opportunity to be involved with the Slip It On campaign, packing safe sex packs for a few hours of crazy community fun.
ACON promises celebrities (no names, but Whitney and Michael will be in town...), delectable foods and sugary sweeties.

Sex and Pleasure dinner forum
SERO DISCO 3, Sex and Pleasure will be hosted by Vanessa Wagner with special guest Nurse Nancy and promises to be an entertaining and informative night out. This dinner forum is for guys in or thinking about a pos-neg relationship. The event is free, but places are limited.
